Dawn Patrol

Fresh off a trip back east for the holidays, I was still on east coast time and waking up far too early upon getting home to Seattle. We had some really crisp, cold weather along with a fresh refill of snow. Rather than trying to sleep in, I decided to head out to one of my favorite areas of the Cascades and catch a sunrise. I don’t know the name of this little peak, but it was a sentinel for the sun and a hopeful sign some warm daylight was on its way.
