Silent Sierras

It was a cold crisp morning in the Eastern Sierra as I impatiently waited for the sun to break the horizon. The season’s first dusting of snow fell the night before, only adding to the frigid feeling. But before the sunrise would illuminate the landscape, there was an incredible sense of silence and peacefulness. It was only a matter of moments before the warm glow of sunrise would completely transform this scene.
